Special rides & special elevators

flexyPage® multimedia displays offer a wide range of applications for different types of elevators. They enable the reservation of elevators for priority trips. In case of fire, the displays provide rescue personnel with a view into the cabin and the floors. They can also display animated graphics to show the journey of an inclined elevator, show video streams from network cameras for monitoring underground elevators, and serve as entry assistance for car elevators. For freight elevators, the flexyPage® displays show the direction of movement, location, date, time, and the current load. In addition, they can display over 127 freely definable special texts and can be retrofitted in all elevators.

Person detection for platform lifts

ELFINVISION sensors enable reliable detection of objects on platform lifts and transmit this information directly to the controller. This makes it possible to implement the new requirements of DIN EN 81-41, which mandate the use of person detection systems. As a result, calls from other landings can be blocked while a person is on the lift. The solution is suitable for both new installations and the modernization of existing systems.

Freight Elevators

Freight elevators differ in load capacity and equipment from passenger elevators and must be particularly robust. Depending on usage, special equipment such as a call and send control for chemical transport may be necessary. flexyPage displays show the direction of movement, current location, date, and time in various formats and languages. The displays can digitally show the current load and are retrofittable. In addition to status messages such as "Out of Service," they can display over 127 freely definable special texts.

Fire & Firefighter Elevators

flexyPage displays assist during fire incidents by showing the exact position of the elevator car and the estimated number of trapped individuals. Connected to position and load sensors, these displays help rescue personnel conduct evacuations more quickly and efficiently. They also offer real-time updates from network cameras, assisting firefighters in assessing the situation inside and outside the elevator during rescue operations. With our VideoEvac, this support is specifically extended in accordance with DIN EN 81-76:2026-01: in an evacuation scenario, an external signal automatically switches the displays into evacuation mode and presents structured, visual information per floor – including camera previews, status messages, and highlighted emergency calls. flexyPage displays can also automatically show escape and rescue plans during certain events.

Access Control & Priority Rides

Restrict access to different floors with our flexyPage touch displays. The PIN-pad function enables floor access control through a 3 to 6-digit PIN. When a floor button is pressed, a pop-up window appears on the touchscreen for PIN entry, and the signal is only sent with the correct input. This feature can also replace key switches for priority rides, such as bed transports in hospitals.

Inclined Elevators

flexyPage multimedia displays can be used to depict the journey of an inclined elevator through animated graphics. Hotel guests can watch the display to see how the elevator travels from the hotel to a higher restaurant level and where it currently is. Additionally, the distance in meters and travel speed can be displayed. These features help bridge waiting times and entertain users during the ride.

Car Elevators

flexyPage displays also serve as docking aids for car elevators. Using light barriers or network cameras, they provide drivers with visual feedback to find the correct position in the elevator. The display indicates whether the car needs to move forward or backward until the safe position is reached. This speeds up the docking process, increases transport efficiency, and prevents accidents. After docking, the display shows the usual elevator information.

Underfloor Elevators

flexyPage multimedia displays can show the video stream of a network camera to provide elevator users with information about the conditions outside the cabin. This is particularly useful for underfloor elevators that move from inside a building to a roof, terrace, or from a basement to a courtyard. Users can observe if people are on the elevator and ensure it can ascend safely.
