Digital Terminal and Floor Overview

Our flexyPage displays are ideal for use inside elevator cars or as external displays in front of elevators. They provide travelers with clear orientation and can show terminal information, floor overviews, or other wayfinding information in a clear and structured format.
As this information may change regularly, digital displays offer a key advantage: Content can be updated quickly and easily via the internet or intranet. Printed notices are therefore a thing of the past.
In an emergency, every flexyPage display can switch from a visitor information display to a barrier-free two-sense emergency communication system.

Avoiding and Resolving Bottlenecks

Our tried-and-tested smart sensor technology can be trained to specifically detect backlogs at or on escalators in your building and intervene in the control system based on this. For example, if the sensor detects that a queue is forming at the end of the escalator, creating a potential accident risk from passengers following behind, it slows down or stops the escalator until the backlog has cleared. In combination with our smart displays, digital signposts or information can also be shown at the end of the escalator depending on the situation, allowing passengers to quickly find their way and thus move away from the escalator. Our sensors can also detect and help avoid backlogs in front of elevators: They optimize the control of the elevator cars depending on the situation so that crowds of people on certain floors are dispersed as quickly and effectively as possible.

Two-senses Emergency Communication

With flexyPage Messenger, we offer a compliant visual communication channel on flexyPage smart displays for hearing-impaired and mute people during an emergency. Integrated with standard audible emergency call devices, it enables text-based interaction between trapped people and emergency responders. This feature supports multiple languages and therefore provides a communication channel with the emergency call center for people who do not speak the local language. The two-senses emergency call can optionally be supplemented with a video connection.

Object Detection for Enhanced Safety

Our ELFINVISION smart sensor technology can be trained to recognize a wide range of objects and situations. For example, it can detect fast-moving objects or people approaching closing elevator doors, helping to prevent people or objects from becoming trapped.
Unattended luggage can also be detected. At airports in particular, unattended could be a potential security risk. Especially in and around elevators, ELFINVISION can identify such objects and automatically send a notification to the responsible personnel.

Emergency rescue

In case of fire or elevator malfunction with locked persons, the flexyPage displays can show the fire department or service personnel the exact position of the elevator cabin. The data are read out via the position sensor and the load sensor of the lift, which is connected to the display. Thus, the relief personnel can see on the display directly on reaching the rescue floor, between which floors the cabin is located and perform the exemptions so faster and more effective.

In the floors that are not the main exit, the floor displays can not be used for the display of the message 'Fire - Lift!' and the evacuation plans are used.

Vandalism Detection

Our smart sensor technology can be trained to recognize specific movement patterns that indicate vandalism, such as spraying or breaking windows. Such potential vandalism events can be reported in real time to security staff, who can then check the situation on site accurately and promptly.

Person detection for platform lifts

ELFINVISION sensors enable reliable detection of objects on platform lifts and transmit this information directly to the controller. This makes it possible to implement the new requirements of DIN EN 81-41, which mandate the use of person detection systems. As a result, calls from other landings can be blocked while a person is on the lift. The solution is suitable for both new installations and the modernization of existing systems.

Wheelchair detection

The ELFINVISION Wheelchair Assistant detects wheelchairs using optical sensors and AI-supported local processing. Unlike with other technologies, wheelchairs are detected reliably and without risk of confusion. The elevator can then, for example, be called fully automatically, adjust door opening times, or trigger a priority ride – entirely according to your requirements. The key advantage over permanently extended door opening times lies in the overall performance of the elevator. This is particularly relevant in hospitals and care facilities, where door timing is one of the most important factors influencing transport capacity.
