Emergency Call Centers
Are you an emergency call center operator looking to offer two-sense communication with the flexyPage Messenger?
In the event of an elevator malfunction involving trapped passengers, DIN EN 81-28 requires elevators to be equipped with an emergency call system connected to a permanently staffed emergency response center.
However, passengers with hearing impairments may be unable to communicate effectively with the emergency response center using conventional audio-based emergency call systems.
With our flexyPage Messenger, we offer a solution that adds a second, visual communication channel for passengers with hearing impairments, going beyond the requirements of DIN EN 81-70 and AMEV.
This functionality is supported by all flexyPage displays, ranging from 18 cm (7″) to 96 cm (38″), and can be used in combination with all commonly available emergency call systems.

Communication between the displays and the emergency call center is handled exclusively via web-based protocols.
You can connect your elevators to various emergency call centers using 2SC, use our Messenger service as a SaaS solution, or operate your own Messenger server within your local network.
We tested the function with the devices of the following manufacturers:
